Why Tablecloths are BAD!

Because when you leave the room, while your toddler is stuck in her highchair after your son just made a peanutbutter sandwich. She will pull the cloth until she can reach the PB then miraculously get the lid off and make a mess. I honestly have no idea how she got that lid off, but I watched her put it back on. It must not have been tight.

Funny things that my kids do/say...

Hyrum - at dinner tonight - We were eating Noodles and I did warn the kids that they were hot, aparently Hyrum didn't believe me but he took a big bite then yelled "Oooouch, I just burned my toung and my two cheeks"

Aspen - one morning, after it had snowed Lots, I opened the blinds to the sliding door in the kitchen (pause: first you have to think of this sound as best as I can describe it, you know that licking your chops sound, that Willey Coyote makes when he sees the Road Runner, toung sticking out too far, Aspen does it just as good. I don't know how you'd write that sound so I'll refer to it as 'the sound') So after I opened the blinds and she saw the snow, she said " See Mommy, 'the sound' Yummy!"

Hyrum- in church on Sunday, as the bread was coming around, he said, not yelling, but loud enough. "It's POPCORN!"

Aspen - Hyrum was standing on a chair getting into something in the cupboard she was yelling at him, and she says his name pretty good "HYRUM det dow ry now" Pretty bossy for her 17 month old self, huh!
